WHO ARE THE
SILVERSTRING OUTLAWS?
Silverstring Outlaws are a high-energy
country rock band, writing and playing their own songs and
performing the songs of others.
Our unique line up of musicians and vast
experience allows us to write songs of varied styles in the
country genre meaning we will play traditional country all
the way to screaming in your face country rock. After the
independent release of our first EP - The Good Life in 2005
we are now currently in the process of recording our first
album due for release mid to late 2010 preceded by
the video release of our single Good Year for the Outlaw due
mid 2010.
Since 2001 we have travelled Victoria, NSW,
QLD, SA and Tasmania performing at Pubs, Clubs and B & S
Balls and Ute Musters. 2006 saw us at the Tamworth Country Music Festival where we
played 15 gigs over 10 days and were the house band at the
ACMLA country music awards.
We have custom built our own Tour Bus which
is featured in the March 2006 edition of Live to Ride
magazine (photographed at Tamworth) enabling us to travel together as a band and is a great
marketing tool to attract an audience to venues.
Since 2002 we have played at Dargo as the
resident band at Easter and New Years Eve, each year the
crowd has grown so large that the the gig was moved to a
newly developed outdoors stage, Easter 2007 saw the
inaugural Dargo High Plains Festival where we shared the
main stage with the Wolverines and supporting bands.
Silverstring Outlaws are a hard working,
enduring, committed, independent country rock act not to be
missed forging new frontiers for our love of country rock
music.
